Agreement and who may use Postomatic
These Terms govern access to postomatic.co, app.postomatic.co, and related Postomatic services. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Postomatic for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms and manage its brands, users, integrations, content, and billing. “Customer” means that person or organisation; “User” means anyone the Customer authorises.
Postomatic is operated from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Questions can be sent to support@postomatic.co.
What the service does
Postomatic learns approved brand information, analyses customer and search demand, plans content, performs research, creates and reviews articles and media, schedules and publishes through approved connections, and measures results. Available features, limits, quality tiers, integrations, and automation levels depend on the selected plan and configuration.
The Customer controls which brands, sources, users, properties, destinations, and integrations are connected. Postomatic may refuse, pause, or require review of work where evidence, permissions, safety checks, payment, or destination availability is insufficient.
Accounts, brands, roles, and security
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. Each brand has its own isolated knowledge, settings, integrations, content, and audit history. Account owners and administrators are responsible for invitations, role assignments, brand access, and removing people who no longer need access.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. We may require identity or authority checks before changing ownership, restoring access, or disclosing account information.
Public beta
Postomatic is offered as a paid public beta. Beta features may change, improve, be limited, or be withdrawn as we learn from real use. We will not use the beta label to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, and material subscription changes will be communicated before they take effect.
Customers should maintain appropriate oversight for their industry, brand, and risk level. You must not rely on Postomatic as the sole review process for legal, medical, financial, regulated, safety-critical, or high-consequence publishing.
Plans, billing, renewals, and beta pricing
Paid plans, billing interval, included usage, taxes, and renewal price are shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the disclosed interval until cancelled. Stripe processes payments and may require billing, tax, identity, or payment-method information under its own terms.
Where introductory public-beta pricing is offered, checkout will state the discount, how long it applies, and the standard price that applies afterward. A three-month discount does not make the subscription a three-month fixed term; the subscription continues at the disclosed standard price unless cancelled.
Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. You remain responsible for applicable taxes. We may change future pricing with reasonable advance notice; a price change will not be applied retrospectively to an already-paid period.
Payment failure, cancellation, and plan changes
If a renewal payment fails, Postomatic may apply the grace period shown in the product, retry payment, restrict paid features, or suspend new automated work. A grace period does not extend the paid subscription term. Access may end if payment is not resolved.
Upgrades may take effect after confirmed payment. Downgrades generally take effect at the next paid-period boundary. You can cancel through the billing settings or Stripe Customer Portal; unless otherwise shown, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Cancelling stops renewal but does not automatically delete account data.
Customer content and permissions
The Customer retains ownership of material it provides and its rights in content created specifically for its account, subject to third-party rights and applicable law. You grant Postomatic a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transform, transmit, display, and publish Customer content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service for that Customer.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary to:
- provide websites, files, products, evidence, trademarks, images, and other material;
- authorise connected Google, CMS, analytics, and publishing accounts;
- publish or update content at the selected destination; and
- process any personal information included in Customer content.
You must not provide material that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, confidentiality, publicity, or other rights.
AI-generated work and editorial responsibility
Postomatic uses automated systems and third-party AI providers. Generated research, analysis, recommendations, copy, images, classifications, and corrections may be incomplete, inaccurate, similar to third-party material, or unsuitable for a particular purpose despite safeguards and independent checks.
The Customer is responsible for its final published claims, offers, legal disclosures, professional advice, intellectual-property clearance, regulatory compliance, and brand decisions. Postomatic’s evidence and quality controls reduce risk but do not replace qualified human or professional review where the circumstances require it.
To the extent permitted by law, Postomatic does not promise that generated content is unique, registrable, non-infringing, error-free, or guaranteed to achieve rankings, traffic, sales, revenue, or any particular outcome.
Automation and publishing authority
By enabling Autopilot, scheduling, or a publishing connection, the Customer authorises Postomatic to perform the displayed actions within the selected plan, brand settings, destination, calendar, and safeguards. This may include creating, scheduling, updating, unpublishing, retrying, verifying, or rolling back content where the connector supports it.
You are responsible for destination permissions, editorial policies, backups, and any additional approval process required by your organisation. You may disconnect a destination or cancel scheduled work using available controls, but work already processed by a third party may be subject to that provider’s own behavior and limitations.
Acceptable use
You must not use Postomatic to:
- break the law, facilitate fraud, deception, abuse, harassment, or discrimination;
- publish malware, phishing, spam, illegal goods, or harmful instructions;
- impersonate others or misrepresent authority, evidence, products, or endorsements;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or publicity rights;
- access accounts, brands, systems, or data without permission;
- probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass service controls except where law expressly permits;
- resell, sublicense, or provide service-bureau access without our written agreement; or
- use outputs to train a competing model or reproduce material parts of Postomatic’s product, prompts, safeguards, or datasets.
We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or restrict affected access while we protect customers, third parties, and the service.
Third-party services and integrations
Postomatic depends on third-party services including Google, Stripe, hosting, workflow, email, AI, search/research, analytics, and CMS/publishing providers. Their services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, limits, availability, and account rules.
We are not responsible for a third party’s independent acts, outages, policy changes, content removal, account suspension, API changes, or data handling. We will use reasonable care in selecting and integrating providers and will surface recoverable failures where the product supports doing so.
Postomatic intellectual property and feedback
Postomatic and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, interface, workflows, templates, prompts, evaluation methods, safeguards, documentation, trademarks, and aggregated or de-identified learnings that do not identify a Customer or User.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Postomatic during an active authorised subscription. If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or payment, provided we do not publicly identify you without consent.
Availability, changes, and support
We aim to operate Postomatic reliably but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, provider failures, security events, beta changes, force majeure, or circumstances outside reasonable control may interrupt availability.
We may update features, providers, limits, or workflows. If a material change substantially reduces a paid core feature, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and provide any remedy required by law. Support channels and response targets may vary by plan.
Suspension, termination, and data after closure
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, harm to the service or others, or where required by a provider or law. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure the issue.
Account owners may close an account subject to final-owner and authority protections. Closure ends access and revokes pending invitations. Data may be retained or deleted as described in the Privacy Policy, including for billing, security, audit, backup, dispute, and legal purposes. Customers should export any material they need before closure.
Consumer guarantees, disclaimers, and liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Subject to those non-excludable rights, Postomatic is provided on an “as available” basis. We exclude implied warranties to the extent permitted by law and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunity, reputational damage, or loss caused by Customer content, unauthorised instructions, or independent third-party services.
To the extent liability can lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability arising from the service or these Terms is limited to the fees paid by the Customer for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability caused by fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other matter that cannot lawfully be limited.
General terms and governing law
These Terms and the documents they reference are the agreement between the Customer and Postomatic for the service. If part of the agreement is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue.
You may not assign the agreement without our consent, except as part of a genuine sale of your business where the assignee accepts these Terms. We may assign the agreement as part of a restructure, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of Postomatic, with notice where required. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the courts of Victoria and courts entitled to hear appeals from them, subject to any mandatory rights to bring a claim elsewhere.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the beta, pricing, providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. If a material change adversely affects an active paid subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice and any choice or remedy required by law.
