How does Postomatic compare with SEObot?

Both describe automated content workflows. Postomatic brings customer-question research and Brand Brain into planning, article creation, quality checks, publishing and eligible refreshes. SEObot describes website-based research, a content plan, article production and connected publishing, with controls for custom context and moderation. Compare what goes into a topic decision, how the article reflects your business and what happens when you want to make a change. The complete workflow matters more than a familiar automation label.

Can I edit or stop an article before it goes live?

In Postomatic, scheduled content remains editable or cancellable before publication. You can change the publishing rhythm as priorities change. SEObot’s Auto-Publish guide describes a choice between sending new articles live and leaving them as drafts for review. It says changing that setting affects future articles; already-published posts remain live. Decide where you want to intervene, then check that part of the workflow with a real article and your connected website.

How do I make the content reflect my business?

Give the workflow accurate products, audience details, experience and source material. Postomatic keeps that context in Brand Brain and connects it to research and writing. SEObot documents adding custom context to scheduled headlines, including facts, product information and an outline. Its guide recommends pausing autopilot while editing that context. During evaluation, use a customer question with specific business facts and inspect whether the resulting explanation uses those facts accurately and usefully.

Can I keep my current website and design?

Yes, choose a connection that fits the site you already run. Postomatic supports WordPress, Shopify and a custom-website option for compatible Next.js and AI-built websites. SEObot publishes WordPress and API/Next.js setup documentation alongside its other CMS connections. For a custom site, confirm the receiving endpoint and content template with your developer. Inspect where the finished article appears, how images and links render, and how you will maintain that post later.

What about articles that are already on my website?

Postomatic’s permission-based workflow can bring eligible existing articles into search-led refreshes. Connecting a site is not blanket permission to rewrite every page. The cited SEObot guide says it only manages articles it created and leaves pre-existing content unchanged. That is a useful scope question to check if improving an established blog is part of the job. Ask which posts can be managed, what changes are allowed and whether an update keeps the existing address.

What do the monthly prices actually include?

Postomatic Growth is US$99 monthly with 30 article credits shared across two active brands, or US$990 yearly. SEObot’s public Help Center lists 20 articles a month at $99 and nine articles at $49. Article credits and article counts are different plan units. The guide says the full plan list appears after website onboarding; an annual SEObot offer was not established from that source. Postomatic Launch is a smaller option at US$29 with four monthly credits and one brand.

Will automation guarantee Google rankings or ChatGPT recommendations?

No subscription guarantees those results. An article being created, published, indexed, clicked and cited are different observations. Start by assessing whether the answer helps a real customer, uses accurate business facts and has a sensible next step. Then follow the relevant evidence from your own website. The published example on this page demonstrates a finished piece of work; it is not a controlled comparison of platforms or a promise of future traffic.

What should I check in the Postomatic free trial?

Launch and Growth offer seven days free with three articles; Agency has no free trial. Bring a real customer question and the business knowledge needed to answer it. Check the suggested topic, explanation, image, product connection and publishing destination. Make a change to a scheduled article so you understand the control you retain. Use those observations to decide whether the workflow fits your business and the publishing rhythm you want to maintain.
